HUMAN RESOURCE DUTIES:
(KEY DUTIES)

a) Ensuring the implementation of company’s policies.
b) Conduct employment/recruitment and selection interviews
c) Present a draft of job description on the job groups existing in Parker outfit.
d) Present a proposal on possibly staff training and development.
e) Make proposals/suggestions on any aspect of personnel administration that will enhance Human Resource Management in Parker Drilling.
f) Work in conjunction with the Service Manager on Industrial Relations matters where my assistance will be required.
g) Present a proposed draft on desired areas of changes/review during Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations.
h) Supervision of crew change both National and Expatriate
i) Participating in the orientation of new hires.

k) Supervision of time sheet for both base and rig staff.



COMMUNITY RELATIONS DUTIES:

(KEY DUTIES)
a) Work in conjunction with the community liaison officer during community meetings
b) Participate in joint efforts with the (CLO) to achieve a lasting peace with host communities (both at rig sites and base offices).
c) Participate in the implementation of cashes policies on hazards of each job.
d) Participate in organizing cashes meeting as part of safety activities when required.
e) Co-ordinate the workforce for everyday pep talk briefing.
f) Document control for payment purposes.


3. WORK EXPERIENCE AT WESTERN OCEANIC/NOBLE DRILLING 1991- 1995

ACCOUNTING DUTIES:
(KEYS DUTIES)
a) Handling and documentation of petty cash.
b) Performance of banking activities such as, lodgments, withdrawals, draft processing etc. and ensuring prompt reconciliation of bank statements.
c) Invoicing/Billing of clients and follow-up to ensure prompt payments
d) Payment of workers’ salaries.
e) Handling of tax issues including Local Government rates.
f) Oversee telephone maintenance and bills.
g) Fixed asset management.
h) Administration of departmental budget.
